Hermes NG – the future is in the Cloud

May 24, 2019

Hermes NG (Next Generation) is the next step in the evolution of the Hermes 5 (H5) Cargo Management System which was released in 2017.

Adopting and building on key features of H5 which remains at its core, Hermes NG is a fully modular, Cloud-hosted cargo management ecosystem, that operates a monthly pay-as-you-go model.

This means that users can pick and choose exactly which applications they want and need from Hermes NG, to solve specific problems and improve efficiency in targeted areas.

Being able to choose exactly what you want and don’t want from Hermes NG saves on monthly costs, and because it is entirely Cloud-hosted, there is no need for additional IT infrastructure such as servers, which also saves on capital expenditure.

Data is at the heart of Hermes NG, and with its in-built event reporting, the data Hermes NG gathers is both smart and meaningful, users can know when, where, and why an issue has arisen, and use the data to make operational decisions.

Hermes’ NG Cloud-hosted apps allow for cargo check in, any time, anywhere, and access and usage rights can be granted and managed for all members in the supply chain, from agents, to authorities.

E-checkin, Track&Trace, Slot Booking and Business Intelligence are only some of the stand-alone applications that make up Hermes NG.

For more information, The Hermes team will all be available throughout Air Cargo Europe, from 4th to 7th June at Messe München to talk about the software that takes cargo management to the Cloud.

We will be serving refreshments and there will be opportunity to charge your phone as well.
